Edit:
Since they have most of the different rule sets there, make sure and choose 'Riichi rules'. That either is, or closest to what they're playing I believe.

Well, the tournament finally ended. I thought it was dragging on a bit, but at least the put some character development in for the side characters, so I can't complain to much. I did like how it ended.
Anyone know exactly how many episodes this show is going to be? AniDB says Unknown then a bit further down they say 25 eps, ANN has 26 spots listed, but the last 3 episode titles are blank. Can't really find a clear answer.

I haven't found any solid info about how long it's going to be yet either.

Isn't the problem they will soon face that manga moves at a slower pace than anime (in most cases)? Thus having to end season one due to no more material?

There should be enough Mangamaterial for up to Ep25/26.

On a nice side note, Saki is crushing everything in it's path in Saimoe currently. I've also rewatched episode 19 multiple times now. Need moar!

Looks like we'll be waiting until Saki plays her sister to finally see her battle form. Hopefully there's enough in the budget for them to be as ridiculous as possible.

I'm a little worried now, I don't see how they could possibly wrap everything up in only a handful of more episodes. I mean, there's still the individual tournament too. We know the guy is entered in it... not sure about any of the girls. Unless they plan on bypassing that and going straight to nationals?

I don't know how they'll do it, but watching the preview for the next episode, shows you something. Can't say more without spoiling.

I thought they should have done individual matches/games for the team tourny at one episode a piece. Instead, they kind of drug them out. Now, it looks like they might do 1, or even 2 or more per episode until the end of this season. Wonder how it will play out. I like this show and definitely will watch a season 2.

Which episode was that again? I know read some lines in that direction but somehow I didn't bother to remember them :/
