This is a question to all XP users:
Why do you still have that OS? Why haven't you changed to Vista? Because of a shitty computer? Because of money? Because of all the things you can't do on Vista while you can do that on XP? Because you wouldn't be able to play 720p/1080p encodes? Because you don't like Vista? Because of User Account Control (UAC)?I'm curious as to people's reasons why they haven't changed yet, people have different computers and different opinions. Just wondering about how many there is in the same boat as me.

For me it's a bit of everything, I can't play 720p when I change to Vista even with CoreAVC. I can't use some of my programs, my computer runs too slow and I would have to install very little for the same performance on a Vista that I have on XP. Though mind you, if I had a good computer and my programs worked then I would change because there's so much more functions on a Vista. And seeing as I'm not a gamer, it doesn't mean that much to me, as long as my emulator works. And thing I do is play CS frequently. The interface is so much smother, and I'm sure W7 is even smother in the final version (have tried RC1).
But for me, I think it's a matter of:
1) When Microsoft turn off their support/windows update for XP
2) When my laptop turns dead (it said that right away when I tried to install Vista through the harddrive check)
Until then I'll stay with my beloved XP.
