ANN has the most detailed information about anime production, cast and staff, by a huge margin. That is a fact. As long as any one site doesn't catch up to them, I'll be using ANN.
Only thing I use AniDB for is who subbed how many episodes of what - it's the best source for that.
I also use MAL, mostly for, as the name implies, a list of my anime(and manga). Its use as a database is limited, at best.

AniDB is catching up to ANN imo. Have you looked at the Staff and Cast tabs on a description page lately? Of course it still needs work, but it's starting to come together. I think the Cast info pretty good, Staff might take some more time to catch up.
AniDB Userpage | MAL (Not updated as often)

It's amazing! I love it, I looked at Toradora!'s staff and character and their relationship to one another. It's pretty damn cool.

Which is nice I think. ANN is mainly a for profit site, that has non-paid volunteers updating their stuff. AniDB is not, and those who contribute/volunteer aren't getting jipped since it's more of a community thing, than a commercial site.  :)

I'm gonna send them a good profit on my blog, "ANN, the most trusted retarded site on the Internet".

if ANN site was better structered it would be ok, but the way everything is forced on viewer, practicaly takes away the intrest to read on, l mean, the ammount of ads is huge, there is like 20-80 info-ads proportion, totally useless.

the informatio provided is good but annoying ads take away the leasure of browsing.

It has ads? Or do you mean biased reporting?

call it what you want, it's annoying, if it used as much space on a single site that the trash is taking the ammount of information would be a lot more, l simply try to avoid sites like that, so most probably l'll avoid ANN as much as possible, AniDB ahs enough of info l might want, l'm a fan of anime/manga but l'm not as much of a fan to go and poke who is giving the voices unless the work was so good that it popped my eyes out.
