That's like being surprised that male prisoners get raped.
It's called Situationaly gay. They might not actually like the same sex but there are no other options and they (the young impressionable girls) seamed to be encouraged in it.
basically a school that focuses on being awesome ;D

There are, actually, reasons for most of the more obvious inconsistencies in the series. Unfortunately, unless you read the manga you'll never know, and as such it's hard to recommend the series to anyone looking for something beyond the yuri theme.

How would you rate the manga's story?
If you believe it's a fairly solid story, I might give it a try.

On the whole, I'd be inclined to dissuade you. There are better series out there, unless you have a lot of free time.

I have a lot of free time but I rather spend it watching or reading something actually entertaining. :P
