I think life is like Koppepan.

In the words of Konata "Attack with a gun, attack with a threat, for the desirable Koppepan"

There's no correct answer.
There are only probabilities.
I repeat others' answers, the meaning of life is what you make of it.
Outside of mathematics and logic, there are no real proofs or certainties, just battling probabilities.
(or maybe not)  :P

Miracles are never impossible, just highly improbable.
If there is a higher entity, it merely manipulates probabilities.
Hah!  Fat chance!

the meaning of life is an ongoing, never-ending process of recreation of self

The pursuit of self identity within the realm of physicality
Pack your fists full of hate, take a swing at the world.
These kids stick to themselves, carry angst in their words.
Where we'll never be a part of this cursed fucking town, so we stand amongst ourselves and watch it burn to the ground.

There is no objective meaning in life. It's not like evolution decides the meaning of life either, just because evolution wants you to try to reproduce in order to carry on your genes, that doesn't make it the meaning of your life any more than your parents wanting you to become a doctor, makes it the meaning of your life.

There isn't a meaning to life. Giving a meaning to something is a weird human trait, everything we do has to have a meaning.
Some people find this frightening, so they thought up religions and an afterlife even reincarnation. By doing so we gave a meaning to a meaningless thing.

Humans are weird :|

Seems we have a few nihilists here, or at least; existential nihilism.

I too sort of fall under that boat. Life inherently has no purpose nor meaning. However human beings, because we are generally unable to cope with the unknown, seek to 'create' purpose and meaning in life to overcome our innate fear that everything is in itself worthless and pointless. While created, and thus false, such things aren't necessarily unnecessary nor wrong; just lacking in innate worth. A self-fulfilling prophecy if you will.

Just my 2 cents.

Just pointing out an odd paradox from one of the above posts; If the meaning of life is to die, then it is only in death that life can ever be truly attained. I propose we all seek our worth and life by gathering around the camp fire and off'ing ourselves XD

said that were just a pile of meat who were just lucky to have brains that think stuff like this. And since it's fun to leave stuff behind we just need to go to bed with other sex and do something. Easy eh?

But the ultimate truth is that there is no answer. muahahaha!

I'd like to believe the meaning of life is to find happiness with yourself, in whichever way you choose. Some seek education, some seek to copulate with everyone in sight, some just want companionship, others to make families and raise them.In other words: To live like YOU want.

I myself will have lived a happy life, so long as everyone around me was smiling more than not. If I can keep my family and friends laughing, through good and bad times, I'd go peacefully in the end. It's been said, I don't think there's just one, flawless and truthful answer.

Over-thinking and over-analyzing things are things we humans do all too often.I'd just rather not think about what purpose my life holds; and just live it.

there is no "meaning" to life. just enjoy it while you can, cuz ultimately, in the very end, nothing will have ever mattered. i'm talking about when the universe runs out of all energy and vaporises into oblivion and nothing will exist anymore. one billion years from now, if intelligent life still exists, nobody will know anything about you, anime, or anything to do with Earth as it is now.. so, enjoy it while you can.

Not exactly true. Many things do matter and help society, technology, humanity, family etc, etc evolve.
Nothing will matter forever tho.

I pretty much think the exact same way, except I can't word it quite as well (to be precise, I wouldn't even know where to begin if I was to explain it myself  :P) So thank you for that  ;D

Are you deaf as well as blind, woman? I'm not a carpet to walk over and I
distinctly heard myself speak. If I pinch your bottom, you can slap my face, but until I do, I expect a civil word for a civil word!

The meaning of life is to have a life of meaning.

In the post a few above on fearing the unknown..that's a factor found throughout life in all areas. Good point brought up.

You can look at life as something just to get done with, or to further the experience and lives of others to come.
Life is short, art long, opportunity fleeting, experience treacherous, judgment difficult

Living is meaning of life.

I like to relax and do simple things, reading books and watching anime.

Lazy, stupid, and unproductive.
