Considering that
Gundam 00's structure and characters are based off of Gundam Wing and not the Universal Century Time line series, I'd say you should watch it first then start
00. The other speculations about the movie that is coming out are quite exciting though. I have been waiting for a new story arc that finally picked up where
ZZ left oft. I'm guessing though that since it is going to be a
OO movie it won't have anything to do with the UC. But still I'd like to see the Jupiter story finally told.
Ill probably watch it later on, been going through the UC universe for the first time lately and find that I rate opposite of AniDB. Those rated high I've rated low and the opposite. ^^ Guess it is because I find mecha battles sleep inducing instead of interesting.
Have you seen any of the
MS Igloo OVA's yet? That has a lot of character development and takes a more personal approach to the Gundam franchise. It also has some amazing 3d animation. It's basically a retelling of One year war, 0079.
