Did Beck actually claim that? That would be like Hitler claiming he was liberal leftist, or Gandhi bragging about the values of fascism.

Well we have a couple of silent answers just waiting for a good time to strike, unlike Palin who's a joke and a distraction. The bigger she makes herself, the better it is for whoever tackles her in primaries.

Eric Cantor would be my favorite of the bunch. As a Virginian, I'm very biased on this. We, as a state, have produced the most and (arguably) the most influential Presidents over the course of history. Mr. Cantor lacks a little charisma to the public but he has been AMAZING as a whip. He's fired up the GOP (sometimes with some controversy) and, with some time, could be a great selection. Time, fortunately, he has right now. The question is - would he consider running?

I always thought it was hilarious that you don't see more Jews at the forefront of the Republican party since the GOP is so wild about defending Israel. ( I guess it's because most Jews just happen to reside in Blue States)

I also think it's absolutely Hilarious that on the Wiki article for Cantor, John McCain is cited as calling it a "joke" that he would elect him for a VP pick. Look who he picked instead :)

What's sad is he probably would have won if he elected anyone but Palin. But Cantor probably would be one of the better picks.

He was right to flame Pelosi about the "Car-Czar" Ponzi schemes she has been cooking up, but he needs to light her ass on fire much more in the coming years. She needs to be unseated and i doubt a Democrat can accomplish this without ruffling too many feathers. Pelosi is one of the biggest drags on the Democratic party and the nation, so if he can take her out it would be greatly appreciated.

I wholeheartedly encourage the Republican party to rip Pelosi to shreds. She has successfully and almost single-handedly butt fucked this nation in the buttcheeks worse than even Hillary Clinton could have ever done (OK maybe that's over-exaggerating?). Regardless she needs to go and we need a new speaker of the house. As a woman and as a politician she has no spine and no character. Although I probably didn't even need to tell you that, since you already knew.

As big a Cantor supporter I am now, at the time he was not the best choice for running-mate. His "big" splashes have come AFTER the election with his rebel-rousing within the GOP to "shake things up" post-Obama election. Romney would have been a sealed deal for election with the economic crisis that came very shortly after picking Palin.

Hinesight is 20/20
