Code Geass OVA?
« on: August 19, 2009, 12:27:37 AM »
What I've heard:Someone, here on BBT,told me he saw a poster of a Code Geass OVA,set after the events in R2.The guys who made this also said that Code Geass didn't end,and that'll be continued somehow. They also said they'll make an official announcement soon(December 08).
Its been 8 months and a half since then.
I really think it's real.R2=R.R. Is that corect?He becomes a contractor,acording to the in-world mithology.

What do you think?Or do you have any info?

Also,I thought of putting this here. She looks hot even as a brunnette.

well I know i read something on ANN a while back, that said that the Geass universe wasn't completed, and hinted at another series.  But didn't really say much else.  Though I haven't done any digging lately.  I"m sure we will hear something this spring probably.
I have typed these words and you have been forced to read them.  Now you can go cry in the corner if you like :)

A lot of rumors got spread after Code R2 ended when Sunrise said "Geass cannot die. It just ended, but we think it would be nice if we can still do something more. In any case, when we can announce something, in the not-so-distant future…"

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-12-25/sunrise-indicates-possibility-of-more-code-geass

If there are cash cows to milk, that'd be one of them. The probability of another season is 50/50 in my eyes. Doubt they'd do an OVA though.

Bringing back Lelouch is going to harm the series ... <-- spoiler, finish Code Geass 2 first before reading it. They have to move on and either do some side stories or go back in time to explain CC's past and VV's if possible. I'd love to have both. Or, they can make it similar to Macross series where they can go 10 years forward in the future, or 30, or half a century.

The series has been so popular that I have an hard time believing they won't attempt a sequel, even if it ends up sucking.

I'm not 100% sold on that.

I think it could be well done and interesting but, yes, they would have to be very careful to not ruin the series.

if there were some OVAS i think they should *as mentioned*
be from CC's past. . .and how she learned to count ;D and clean and be useful ;D

or about the future (but exclude lelouch)
i think bringing back lelouch wouldnt be such a good idea. . .tho yes since he had tha geass powa he was probably immortal. . .
idk they'll have to play it nice in order to bring back lelouch. . .

another good OVA might be lelouch and suzaku's childhood.

The source is imageshack. For all I know, it could easily be a fan art.

Well, at least it's not made by a yaoi fangirl... :P

It's from imageshack because I uploaded it there. Definitely doesn't seem like fanart to me. I wish I could remember where I got it from, but wherever it was, it seemed official.

Read the small print on the your image "Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 Special Edition 'Zero Requiem'."

According to CDJapan's site: "Reconfigured DVD release from anime series 'Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2' featuring all 25 episodes. Includes new dubbing parts." Sounds like a OVA clip show.

EDIT: Found an ISO of "Zero Requiem" online, will download to give a better description.
EDIT2: They also did this for the first season, that ones called "Black Rebellion."

Still. If I remember correctly, episode 2 is just amazing. Though, I could be wrong. I watched Code Geass in December.

since l know what hes going to do it kinda just lost it's impression on me.

sorry but it doesn't really cut to me, Death Note was the same for me, l just don't see a point in watching it since all pieces were brought out this early.

l'm currently watching Sora wich is a lot more interesting.

Hell even Pokemon is more interesting, just watching this to se how he does it isn't worth anymore, cuz everything is explained in advance.

if yo uwant me to watch this series convince me with something that is really convincing, l don't even think of Code Geas as awesome in any factor, it was interesting untill that girl gave him the powers etc, and that was about it. Nothing more gets to me really.

if you think you can convince me to watch this (aside of echii stuff that might be in there) just PM me.

Edit:
l'd like to explain one thing, l will watch this series since l started it, but at a much slower pace than normal since l don't see anything interesting in particular.

With that said, l await your attempts to convnce me to the greateness of this, l'll go play AT2 in the meantime or Dragonica.

You really need to watch what you say and how you compare Code Geass to other series. You know what he's going to do? Did you read spoilers or are you assuming that you know what's he going to do?

If you did read the spoilers about what's he going to do then you're at fault. That's why they're called "spoilers". If you're going to assume ... then tell us what's he gonna do, then?

I disagree. There are at least two major spoilers that are not hidden on this page alone.
