I story without a little tension or conflict might get boring =o

If you like watching characters getting into arguments or fighting, Aria is the wrong show to watch xD There's nary a hint of that anywhere, except maybe occasionally, in the case of Aika (who seems to take everything a little personally, but she's a sweet buttercup compared to just about any other anime character).
As for tension in Aria... the only thing that comes to mind is Alice trying to make her way home from school and trying to step only on the shadows. OMG, that part was so exciting I could stop watching O_O especially when Athena (click to show/hide)'rescues' her at the last minute with her own shadow.
Ok, ok, I'm just kidding about me, but that's about as much tension as you're going to find. This is not a series to pique your interest and pull you in, it's just a story about Aqua, a planet as close to heaven as one can get.
I find that the OP videos pretty much describe what you can expect from the rest of the show. Here's the OP for episode 1 of season 1 (that's as good as Youtube has it in, sorry about the video quality). I just love how the theme fits the series so well that they don't even need to make an OP sequence for it <3
What's even better, is that Aria (all seasons of it AFAIK) is licensed by TRSI (who've been really sweet about not sending C&Ds), so you can get good boxsets for cheap. They've released up to season 2 so far, I've got season 1 from them and definitely plan to buy the rest when they're available.
