The back story on this is Studio 4°C is/was/could be working on it, or it could just be some in-house demo and never see full realization.

Note that these screenshots are NOT from the video game and appear to be authentic.

I've always thought it was a bit weak with the manga having so many chapters and there only being one season. All I can say is COOL. I'll never be able to drop anime with so much awesome stuff coming out XD

Considering that the Series only covered the volumes up to book 13 (and left quite some gaps) and the manga is now at volume 34 (or 35?) there's enough stuff for two further seasons

I doubt they'd continue from where the TV series left off.

Anyway, most of what I've heard is that this is most likely to be a video game with anime cut scenes. I'd love to see a proper anime, but I have a hard time believing the anime industry in its current state is capable of producing so much awesome.

I fear that to be the Dark reality, becuase I also doubt the anime industry could, at this time, pull of such awesome greatness.

I would really love to see a second season aswell!
It was such an exelent show, and it followed the manga quite decently.
To see the story go on in HD would just be awesome.
Lets all cross fingers and hope this will become reality

I hope it's not true. I loved Berserk and felt that it ended perfectly. There's absolutely no chance that a sequel could live up to the first. Best to leave it as it is and not ruin it.

The pictures does look like an ordinary video game, especially the first one.

And we all know that games can have different FMVs, some being in actual gameplay graphic and others in CGI.

Does anyone recognize anything? I know the main character is in the second screenshot.

The 3rd is post apocalypse Caska, the little fairy in the last one is also post apocalypse from the manga.

It's been confirmed that it does not originate from a video game. My guess it's either a pilot to pitch, or a demo for in house purposes.

Hmm, it may be like that Tech Demo that was made for Final Fantasy VII. Which source do you have that this is not a video game?

First scene looks like the first time we meet Zod in the castle (gutts gets his ass kicked and griffith rescues him) and the second screen looks like the Hundred Man Slayer scene, saw both in the anime. Other 2 screens are new.

What would be the purpose of a tech demo for an traditional style anime? It looks like standard stuff. FFVII was to show off their CGI tech.
