Berserk season 2 coming?

<< < (20/32) > >>

Takeshi:
I'm not sure how to interpret it. From what you post it sounds like only 3 movies are coming out, but from this it sounds as if these movies will only adapt that specific arc.

Anyone know how much it covers in the manga?

I changed it.

nayotake:
Covering the whole manga? Damn, so they're even planning ahead for the end of it too. That's pretty amazing.

I find it amusing that the director of the new Berserk movie(s?) is the character designer for the iDOLM@STER games.

Surely that's no coincidence.

Of course, 4C also did Tweeny Witches, and that was a cheap-ass slideshow by all accounts. Though one would hope that a theatrical project would get a higher budget on a per-minute basis.

It sounds like the 3 currently-planned movies will cover pretty much the same material as the TV series. So instead of a 25-episode, 625-minute manga commercial, we get a 3-movie, ~360-minute manga commercial. Kinda sucks for everyone hoping for a sequel, but at least it helps introduce the material to a new generation of fans, some of whom might've been in kindergarten when the 1997 series came out.
