Confirming if it was. I was confused if you were talking about one chapter or a volume.

Edit -- I'll make myself more clear. I was confused between a chapter and a volume so that's why I questioned it since 4 chapters were already available to the states. And that was my point. O_o;; I get bad vibes from you sometimes Arve.

Hmmm.. don't you mean 4 volumes are already available in the states? I bought all 4 at Border's (bookstore) the other day.

Edit: So this seems to be where our confusion is. There are multiple chapters in 1 volume. A volume would be a collection of chapters.

Downloaded it. But might consider ordering it on amazon after reading 2 volumes.

Small info for those who buy it: Vol. 5 will be available in Oct'09 and Vol. 6 in Feb'10 ((at least the English versions offered on amazon Germany, amazon USA has them probably sooner)

Well, I bought all four volumes that are out....and let me tell you: WORTH every penny. Story is engaging, characters are lovable, and the bad guys are despicable. But vol 4 ends on a HUGE *HOLY SHIT* moment and volume 5 comes out in November. Gonna be a long wait, but I can't wait to see Akira kick more ass.

I estimate that one volume is enough for about 2-3 episodes, so with 5 volume, they could make a 13 episode series. And since the manga seems to be 10 volumes long, it would be perfect for a 26 episode show.

Just received a confirmation from Amazon for change dates on volume 5th, it should be out next year around Feb. Anyone else who ordered it got similar messages, too? Any early availablities are also a welcome if you could share.
