I've been trying to do some research but i cant find anything. . .
does anyone know if all the  "fermeted" stuff in the anime is actually true? (i mean edible)

like those fermented birds inside a fermented walrus. . .

or that fish thing.

i cant find anything =.=


i was just curious. . .maybe they dont taste so bad  ::)

I'm pretty sure all the food in Moyashimon is real. Getting it is another matter. The fermented fish? Oh boy, have a look: Surstromming.

Oh, it's quite real; surströmming is considered a delicacy (though it has to be said, it is an aquired taste).

Go North of the Arctic circle, it sounds like something the Eskimo or Inuit would do to preserve food. Then again, did the Professor say where it came from? I can't remember... xD
