Proin Drakenzol:
it was a fairly so-so space opera. Crest and Banner of the Stars one, two and three were better, IMO.

Infinite Ryvius is pretty good, as well.

Seen them. Nadisco (spelling?) as well. I do need to see the movie for Nadisco tho'.

What this did better than the others was to try for some space tactics. The others skimmed that part in most cases.

But the tactics were terrible in all of them, so that's a wash (and actually Crest/Banner did show tactics and strategy).

If you want good tactics and strategy in a space opera read David Weber's Honor Harrington series.
