We have an SD version by BB here, but it's a mess of different codecs and file formats. BB was the only complete fansub for awhile, so I appreciate their efforts. Still, it'd be better if someone could replace it with Shinsen's XviD release, to go along with SHS' HD release.

Only the first 2 eps are h.264 anyways, so I don't think it's worth keeping BB's on that basis.  It would be nice if we knew something about quality (video, TL, editing), though.

If they're otherwise equal, I'm for upping Shinsen's.

  I downloaded BB's episodes 1, 4 and 7. I tried all the possible ways to get the video and audio bitrates for episode 1 but I simply didn't manage to do it. Also, episode 7 didn't displayed any subs no mather the player I used and I'm pretty sure episodes 8 and 9 wouldn't had either. All in one, the current BB torrent is a total mess from the file structure point of view, but, in my opinion, it is slightly superior compared to SHS's image quality, as in it is more sharper and crispier while SHS's is blurier. (*see the following screenshots comparison)

Also, I'm for upping SHS's release too. At least for the sake of consistency, despite the lower video quality.

Mm, I do like BB's video quality better.  The inconsistency of that torrent horrifies me, though, and if you're downloading the XviD, you're not going to get amazing video quality, anyways.
