Naruto movies question
« on: August 27, 2009, 03:11:32 AM »
Any Naruto fans know what are the highest quality Naruto movie files for the first 3 movies laying around on the internet ?

So far, i have found the best quality for movie 1 and 2 are from BluDragon found here:

http://bludragon.wordpress.com/2009/06/20/naruto-ninja-clash-in-the-land-of-snow-2004-movie-1/
http://bludragon.wordpress.com/2009/06/21/naruto-legend-of-the-stone-of-gelel-2005-movie-2/

and for movie 3 is this
[Leopard-Raws] Naruto Movie - 3 RAW (TVO 1440x1080 [16:9] x264 AAC)

If anyone found a higher quality for these movies, like from HDTV or bluray, please post it
thanks

You're unlikely to find very many Naruto fans lurking in this section of the forums.

Hopefully, the best quality releases are those we host.  If they aren't, then upload a replacement. >.>

Those movies ripped by bludragon are already in the tracker. That includes movie 3.

Well, DB has HDTV versions for Shippuuden Movie 2 and Naruto Movie 3. But they're not here since DB is against BakaBT uploading their files here... Though take note that they're 1080p. So you'll need a good computer.

Leopard-Raws, as i posted, have an hdtv raw for movie 3. The DatteBayo fansub encode doesn't meet my standards, it's hardsubbed with mp3 sound, it is in avi, the file is way too oversized (encoder's opinion) and for some reason needs more cpu than the Leopard raws version which is also 1080p and about 1 gb smaller

For the first 2 movies, so far then, the best option is bludragon.

Anyway, can anyone upload on bakabt (or seed) this : http://www.mininova.org/tor/1491609

About the second thing, come one ! It's not like Viz media approves of their dvds being uploaded here, what can a fansub group do if you upload their encode here ?
I'm not trying to start a war but you can see the irony

Raws aren't allowed here, so forget about the Leopard-Raws version. For the third movie, what's wrong with BluDragon's release? Or there's also this version with a slightly higher resolution.

Got any old fansubs on HDD/DVD/CD? Please take a look at this thread.

Oh, DB certainly made it clear that they didn't want their stuff up here. We set the rules for a reason, so they will be followed.

Well, DB once "attacked" BakaBT without warning for uploading some of their fansubs here, what it was I don't know, maybe a Naruto movie.

EDIT: I sure hope I got it right, I wasn't around at that time, but have been told it was that kind of thing...

I suggest you don't fight against the rules because rules are rules, it's just like death, you just have to deal with it whether you like it or not.. And why is it that you assume we have that file or can get it? If you're having trouble getting it, don't you think we would as well? If you want it then consider PM-ing the uploader at MN or something...

I haven't seen any of Bludragon's Naruto movies, mainly because I'm completely firewalled from the people on the torrent >_> but looking at all the other versions they seem to be the best if you can live with the increased file size because of the English track.

It was the first Naruto Shippuuden movie if I'm not mistaken. The torrent uploaded here got more seeds than the official torrent from dattebayo.

Raws aren't allowed here, so forget about the Leopard-Raws version.

I didn't know that, but i have the raw already, I was asking if anyone knows of a similar raw for the first 2 movies to at least PM the link to me.
You know, the raw can be easily made into a complete mkv with some softsubs

I suggest you don't fight against the rules because rules are rules, it's just like death, you just have to deal with it whether you like it or not.. And why is it that you assume we have that file or can get it?

That was poetic ! I guess, you understand of course  my comment wasn't really about the torrent itself nor the rules rather than a statement about the oddity of ignoring the company that pays the artists and not a bunch of kids like us, just saying don't make a deal out of it. (script kiddies attacking known exploits is cheap)

It was the first Naruto Shippuuden movie if I'm not mistaken. The torrent uploaded here got more seeds than the official torrent from dattebayo.

Interesting, i didn't know this tracker was so popular...

I moved this because it didn't really belong in Uploaders', since you're not talking about uploading a replacement or anything.  I don't have a feeling this thread is going to stay around for too much longer, though, anyways.

The first one cannot be uploaded. It uses DB subs. As for the second one, request for it or offer it yourself.

It couldn't have been Shippuuden-related; I remember DB files being disallowed back when I first signed up in 2005, long before Shippuuden started. Maybe it was one of the original Naruto movies.

As for "why cave to a fansub group's demands?", DB distributes everything they release on torrents, which are extremely popular and well-seeded. Since their releases are easily accessible to the BT community, it's not worth fighting with them to host the files here.

Indeed. This is a mistake on my part. I mixed up the ILA's blacklist last year with DB's and shippuden movie's release last year.
