Did you delete psnr's version of Ghost in the Shell after granting my offer? I thought it was decided it is superior to THORA's version  ::)

Since your torrent is Group A, it didn't cause us to delete anything else; it just brought them to our attention.

The situation was
Quote
B - Ghost in the Shell (HDTV,720p,H264,DTS) [PSNR]
B - Ghost in the Shell (Blu-Ray,720p,H264,DTS-ES) [THORA]
B - Ghost in The Shell (1995) BluDragon - Dual H.264
B - Ghost in the Shell: Movie 1 [a4e] - Dual DivX
which is unneccesary.  We kept bluray over hdtv, and a dual-audio.

blubart also brought this to my attention a while ago:

Hi!
I'm kind of puzzled about the decision to delete the PSNR torrent of ghost in the shell. I'm not sure if you followed the discussion on this specific torrent before it got granted (it was granted AFTER the thora bluray release) or if you (in person or as the one carrying out a staff decision) just deleted it based on the hdtv < bluray label - which would be a shame.
The hdtv release of PSNR is considered the release most true to the source while still being hd material. The BluRay release of GitS is heavily smoothed out. imo to a point where anyone liking this style should simply watch the 2.0 version of the movie.
It is not without reason the example to explain the food-chain-exception 2 "better subjective video quality" in the wiki.

If possible i would like to hear the reason behind this decision.

greetings

So yeah. Being informed after it gets deleted is nice, but doesn't help.
If someone wants to re-up it, go ahead.

Oops, sorry about that. Feel free to offer PSNR's again, miscommunication on our part :x

THORA's Bluray is certainly up already, but as I recall from that case, we made an exception to allow PSNR's HDTV alongside THORA's Bluray since it did a better job of grain preservation, among other things.
