I've beaten 2 so far. Is it worth playing through the whole thing? I just can't stand the graphics ... I'm cool with the slow framerate. But the graphics are SOO ... urgh!

Really? I thought the game was one of the best looking for the ps2, Or at least one of the most artistic. However if the graphics really irk you that much then I would say you shouldn't play it anymore.

It is not about the size, it is about how you use it. If I remember correctly, Sony has bragged that their API is a needlessly complex abomination to programming. Really.
