Fun, free games
« on: September 04, 2009, 06:16:45 AM »
I looked if such a thread existed, and found none. Sorry if I missed it.

Basically, the idea is to link to any fun games that we come across that don't require you to pay. It can be anything, from an experimental game with only one level to a complex MMO with hundreds of gameplay ahead, for as long as it's a fun game.

Name: Canabalt
Source: http://www.adamatomic.com/canabalt/
Description: You are running and jumping, from building top to building top, and have to avoid dying. Object will be in your way, building will fall under your feet, bombs will fall in front of you, huge gaps will have to be crossed, but you have to stay alive regardless. Oh, but if you die, you get your death describe to you.

Name: T. Time
Source: http://experimentalgameplay.com/newgames/T%20Time.swf
Description: You are Mr. T and it's time to stick it to those uptight tea drinkers! The goal is to run into as many tea drinking Englishmen as you can in order to form a huge ball of tea drinkers. You have to avoid obstacles like tables and chandeliers as they make you lose some of the accumulated tea drinkers. At the end, you get rated according to how many tea drinkers you were able to catch in your ball.

I'll add more whenever I have time and when I come across a fun one.

Got any to share?

I also used to play Canabalt, but Borror0 mentioned that one already.

Dig into underground and harvest stuff and junk.... oh and if you dig too deep, you will encounter some"thing". ;)
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

I spend way too much time playing it, so might as well post it here:

Name: S4 League
Source: http://s4.en.alaplaya.net/
Description: It's basically a team-based third person shooter. Use a variety weapons of and unique skills to defeat the other players, with big emphasis on teamwork. It has a pretty unique art and play style, and it kept me entertained for a long time. It's not a flawless game by any means - but there's no real alternative that would be as fun in my opinion.
If you're interested, send me a pm first - I'll point you towards some nice guides, the game can be a bit unwelcoming at first.
