I think everyone in that video fit that description.

I don't understand how 'didn't go to college' makes them not understand things that are simple enough to have been taught at a young age. Plus college education does not automatically = more intelligent.

I know plenty of people at uni who'll graduate with fantastic degrees, but still be thick as hell about most stuff.

Agreed. I know many myself.

"Oh, this course is great. Easy A."
"Wtf is anyone going to use 'music history' for?"
"At least it's not a B in a language class. What a waste of money"
"A language is actually useful, unlike music history. I get to use my classes after I leave. What about you? Who's actually wasting money?"

Klocknov:
I would love to learn the history of music, but to pay for it not so much. I took a history of music class in middle school and loved it.

I would really like to know where they find these kinds of people, then again i make it a habit to hang around people with an apparent IQ of at least 100. People like that bring physical pain to me. I literally feel as if they are ripping something out of my chest and stomping on it. They just hurt to be around, which might explain why outside my own social circles I'm such a introvert. Perhaps my own subconscious way of keeping the stupid out.  ::)

And the kind of questions they asked have nothing to do with college education or trivia at all. I can understand if they grabbed someone who didn't know simple trivia about a random subject like music, but were talking about the sides of a fucking triangle, one of the simplest shapes. It even has the root word tri right in it, which means three. KFC? Where Australia and America are located? It shouldn't be that hard... These aren't trick questions. People like that are an example of inbred 'i know absolutely jack shit' kind of people who's general knowledge doesn't extend outside of the Mcdonalds dollar menu (and we have to pay for these people? >.<).

darkjedi:
According to a research only 37% of the world's people have an average IQ of 90~110... The rest are either too smart or too retarded to properly talk with.
