Not surprising, since these four episodes are supposed to act as an introduction to draw people into the manga. The first and fourth weren't very interesting, the second is mindless, and the third had some nice action. Thing is, I've had this manga bookmarked for a couple of years, and I probably still won't read it.

blubart, you must know (and you probably know) that this OVA is the adaptation of the manga Dogs: Stray Dogs Howling in the Dark and that is the direct prequel to the ongoing manga Dogs: Bullets & Carnage. I have read the prequel and the author himself said that he hopes that this introductory manga gets popular so that he can start serialisation.

well, for what its worth i like it.

though it is like watching a trailer for a good assed movie. it tease you, not really giving you any juicy details about the story.
I hope the guy whos created this gets it off the ground. i'd definitely watch it. especially if it was just long OVAs, like Hellsing:Ultimate.
tatsujin thx!!( for nothin! ) thanks Sebur for the SIG!

The sequel manga is ongoing and maybe, just maybe there'll be a series someday.

Well I quite liked the premise, made me read the manga actually

I would say watch it, won't waste much of your time as it's 4 OVA's of 15 minutes

I really love the "Gun Smoker" episode, Badou Nails is a character full of win. "Blade maiden" is great too, strong although bit depressing
