Did you clean your Computer yet, or ... ?
shabutie:
I think I'll do this tomorrow...
Its been a long while...
Mag-X:
I don't have much of a dust problem for some reason. Good air flow? I generally build a new computer every two years or so, so maybe it just doesn't have enough time to build up.
Arveene:
I used to clean older PCs quite often. Good airflow in my newer cases + air filters has greatly reduced the need for that. I just clean the filters once every once in awhile and I'm good. I haven't seen much dust buildup at all in my case.

I used to do that every few months. But since my P4 is too unstable to use... I haven't done so in a while. (Laptops only now).

It gets dirt build up on all the keys and it's impossible to get off unless you take your nails to each key. Besides the keyboard though, nothing ever gets too dirty.

You should be able to pull off the keys one by one (they clip on to the scissor mechanism below) and scrub them individually. I wipe each key with denatured alcohol for best effect. Done this 3 times already, and it still works fine ;)
I don't have a desktop, used to clean the family P4 every year (horrible experience). But I just bought a new mini-tower for the new family desktop and it comes with an intake air filter. I taped off the other openings (an E5300 doesn't really produce much heat so I'm not too worried about ventilation) so hopefully cleaning it should be a more pleasant experience this time round.
