New BT Tracker?
fohfoh:
As many people know, since the fall of TPB, many people have critiqued that there is now a wide gap for tracking of bt files. Most will quickly say that mininova and isohunt are "somewhat" decent alternatives. However, isohunt has seemed to move in a very strange direction by creating something called hexagon.cc. (See front page of isohunt if you want to take a look).
Hexagon.cc seems to be quite different at first glance. Not only is it a private tracker created by isohunt, it has "sharing options" so you can share files either to a few small group of friends, or regular stuff like sharing to many many people. (Possible alternative to Megaupload?)
So what do you guys think about this new upcoming site?
kureshii:
It looks... interesting... but I have yet to try it out :\ not much time these days to be trying new trackers out, but SSL-encrypted group sharing sounds intriguing. I wonder how it's going to be implemented.
Drew:
Huh? TPB still works fine for me...
Sosseres:
Just tested a TPB torrent, download of it worked fine. First scrape failed and dht kicked in, second scrape worked and returned an OK status in Vuze. Source of the fall of TPB please. :)
edit, test the site yourself as well. I don't think the buyout will go through after the site was brought down for a day a while ago.

I'll have to find the threads from before, but people were talking about TPB as if it were falling. Sorry, I didn't look into it and just assumed it was true.
