Yeah, wide gamuts should be a good thing, but wide-gamut LCDs are screwed over by the lack of good software support and colour-awareness in applications :(

It's fine, I converted both images into sRGB colour space and tagged them with an sRGB profile, even if it's not quite close to what I'm seeing on my screen, they should render properly in any case. (Even if they don't, on non-colour-aware monitors, the relative colour differences are easily apparent; colour accuracy on the web is a lost cause since the large majority of displays are uncalibrated anyway.)

is anyone using the DivX H.264 Decoder instead of FFDShow that came with cccp ? im just curious because i can play 720 HD anime just fine but i get a lag when i play the 1080 HD and a few of my friends have been telling me to go that route ?

DivX's H264 decoder is one of the faster decoders out there.

I will also vouch for the new MS H 264 decoder that comes in the new set of windows stuff (WMP 12, W7 etc.). It is better than FFDShows also, but still outclassed by CoreAVC.
