NASA's new space toy
Viseroid:
So what is going to happen to the International Space Station? Is it getting too worn out? I'm guessing it'll meet the same fate as Mir.
Stsin:
It's replacing the space shuttle. They talk as if there's not going to be another space station or even as if that's the only use of such rocket. Safety and getting it done right is the priority, not some business deadline. Blah blah it's behind schedule so we should scrap it, is the typical practice of private companies. And why I'm wary of much private involvement with the space program. Their ulterior motives will always differ greatly from space advancement.
Humanoidz:
Really cool stuff. Now that I'm older I appreciate much much much more the sciences and mathematics. I would love to be an engineer and work on this kind of stuff. But, I'd have to start all over from high school math :(
