well im just using regular old bit torrent right now,b ut i do see an option for encryption. I gotta get to bed so im gonna turn it off for now, but i'll try turning it to forced tomorow. whats the legacy connection option do anyway? i guess ill try unchecking it but curious what it does
i thought encrypting it locked me out of private trackers. i guess your saying it doesn't lock me outa this one. Ill take a look at the ports but i think bittorrent just has a single listening port listed and i think its 6000something
anyone know any other workarounds? I used to get good upload speeds for small stretches of time in the past but it seems to be really throttled down now adays

Still I'm with Psyren, I've yet to get banned for encryption on a private tracker and my uTorrent has been running forced since I started using it.

Oh, I wasn't disagreeing with him. I was merely pointing out that even if private trackers had a tendency to ban people who enforced encryption, we aren't a private trackers, and thus it wouldn't matter.
