Champions Online
« on: September 13, 2009, 02:07:13 AM »
Does anyone else here play this game?  My initial thoughts on it are it seems like an improved version of CoX.  It's a nice break from the typical fantasy style MMO and.... hell I got to make a robot cowboy, how cool is that?

I am enjoying it a lot, however I wish cryptic did take some of the things they had in CoX and put it in CO.  overall I am enjoying beating up Camera Robots and Aliens

I'm tempted just so I can create some of my screenplay characters for kicks and giggles.  But I have no time and it's an mmo.....

Download the trial and just play with the character creation. I heard that, alone, is lots of fun.

Huh, never saw anything for a trial.  That might work because I doubt my pc will run the game beyond that anyway.

Bah any pc can run champions, you just have to turn the graphics down all the way.  sure your capes won't look awesome, but hey, looks aren't everything :)

The worst has happened... I made a character that looks like Charmander.

So I was a fan of CoX for many a year and I watched this come in fruition. Have been meaning to play it but never got around to it. I found it in the local gaming store and bought it this weekend for like $30AUD pretty good for the first 30 days free too.

Anyway, haven't gotten around to signing it up yet, as I have been too busy but anyone got an account or can give me some information on some good and bad points.

Things to avoid and must try?

I did a quick flip through forums and a lot of people seem displeased with the results so far so interested in some of the opinions here.
