I'm using default settings right now (which are Bi-linear and no stretching). I'll try other settings too :)

I'd recommend the Automatic Wallpaper Changer - AWC works fine under XP and Vista (32Bit) and has a lot of options plus a clever "overscan" mode.
Edit: Apparently this has become shareware now, so if you want to enjoy the full version, just use this older setup for 3.0.8 which is still freeware:
