Glass2k. Unfortunately it is no longer in development, so it'll only work on 32-bit XP. But it has been rock-stable for me so far, and is one of the least crashiest programs I've come across.

i was using glass2k and something else ....forgot the bloody name >.<

else use foobar2000, it allows you to set transparency for foobar2000 itself
