I'd rather save the image as .png rather than .jpg since .png doesn't lose any quality (or saves the image as-is showing without losing quality). Hence why my sigs, avas and website is done all in .png.

the filesize of the above? TEN FUCKING MB. if this was a jpeg? more or less 3 mb. HUGE FUCKING DIFFERENCE.

I know i sound like a douche, but better that than another 5 mb+ screenshot. also, wasn't there a rule to LINK to huge images?

Get over it.  I don't care if it's slow for you.  I don't remember reading anywhere that there's a limit and it automatically resizes it for me, so I don't know what's your problem.

Yep, however, to use the format for huge images with tons little areas with solid color is overkill. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_network_graphics#Comparison_to_JPEG
