Your favorite Friendship couples from any anime ...

l'd like to know your very favorite friendship couples candidates, if yo ucan, please give a short reason, or at least detailed in short, please use only max 3 couples, the line is like this:

2) XXXX and XXXX

3) XXXX and XXXX

l'll start.

1) Nanoha and Fate
Reason: (click to show/hide)Nanoha made friends with Fate very early, practically as soon as it was only possible, and in the Strikers season, their bond was almost truly visible, in no Anime l have seen such a bond, they were not lovers, and yet they were much closer to eachother than anyone could belive. To me those two are the bestest Friends Couple ever.[/color]
2) Ritsu and Mio
Reason: (click to show/hide)it's quite obvious, they pretty much depend on eachother too much, when Ritsu was sick with cold she behaved rather weird, but it shows their bond very nicely. They are somewhat a very good friends couple.[/color]
3) l can't come up with anything else than Shana and Kazumi
Reason: (click to show/hide)altough they are rivals those two seem very bonded with just that, Shana isn't talking with Winhelmina about her stuff but she is talking with Kazumi often.l think that those two are a nice friends couple.[/color]

it's something l pretty much created, it's a couple of friends, l'd like you to understand, l don't mean lovers, but friends that are deeply bonded, like Nanoha and Fate, it's something like extremely close friends but not lovers in any way.

Hmm... intimate friends...
1. Maria Oosawa and Canaan (from Canaan)

2. Sakaki and Chiyo (from Azumanga Daioh)

3. Kino and Hermes (from Kino's Journey)

Nanoha and Fate are a couple though ??? It's as canon as you can go without a kiss scene. That's why I was confused.
And I think Mio and Ritsu are better as a couple then friends,, but that's just me, since it's not canon I'll let you have your way.
Hmm, I'll have to think about who I'd consider this "friends couple", since I see most girl-girl friendships in anime through yuri-colored glasses.
