Hah. All those spoilers just confirmed my reasons for dropping it. I even thought Umineko was better than this garbage... at least the characters in that were slightly interesting. I hated every character in Higurashi, except Shion. Loli's? Seriously? Loli's do not turn a terrible series into a good one. I can't handle sitting though 26 episodes of rancid shit comedy and stupid resets. Nty.

Well, this anime does need a big warning sign saying "does not attempt to explain itself during first season", also I believe a character being "childish as hell" fits if the character itself was indeed a child.

There are only two things that can let someone bear the first season:
- Looking forward to the next murder, regardless of character love/hate.
- Coming up with one's own explanation of what the hell is going on.

It's what I'd tell someone who saw at least the first chapter to let them keep watching, or simply advice them to stop watching if they don't want to do what I suggested.

Anyway sorry you had to waste your time without being forewarned, as you can tell the only ones who liked this show were the ones who've managed to bear watching the whole thing.

I freeleeched this too and sort of liked it, the first 13 episodes were not that good but the last half of the series was a little better, though the last episode let me down. Not that interested in checking out the second season do not want to invest another 24 episodes on a series I moderately enjoyed.

Strange... It was the hint made during the last scene of the last episode in season1 that made people (at least me) hooked up immediately to the second season, did you miss the hint or was it the hint itself that let you down? In case someone did miss the hint in that episode, it is pointed out clearly in first ep of season2.

l didn't mean to spoil too much for him, but since hes set on dropping this good series l don't want to bother stopping or convincing him anymore, l decided l will not be agitating ppl to watch anything this year, l wil lalso not recommend anything to anyone.

l'm only saying, this is a great show, umineko is it's copy but isn't as good as this one, not even close, the mystery for the viewer is explained during the first season only in small bits and hints, however the majority is explained in S2 (KAI)

tehre are a few things explained in the special, and some stuff in the OVAs (REI)

this show is definitly not crap.

if you don't like the show and want to share it with others just post "I didn't like this show, cuz l didn't get it at all" period.
