WHERE IS SEASON 2?! Omg! We still need to learn about Yamada! Lmao. This series is so awesome! The opening theme is superb. The ending theme is also awesome.

Inami had a different kind of defence against him and it worked quite well.

third person speech fits selective characters, for instance I like how Misaka's in Index/Railgun were talking about themselves or saying a sentence and stating "says Misaka with an X expression"
things like that are cute but they fit only very few characters, it was cute on Yamada.

The first place I ever saw a person speaking in 3rd about themselves was....drum roll please.....a Asterix & Obelix cartoon book.

I also used to correspond with someone on-line who used to speak of themselves in 3rd person. They were amazingly funny.

Looking to get the "Working!" series now, but haven't located a batch for it yet, lots of single ep d/l's tho.

Which is best? So many to choose from. lol

Personally, I followed Chihiro's subs
and I believe they've done an Excellent job

They did. I liked YuS and m33w's subs better. The translation had more consistency (or the flow of the words matched each other). The quality isn't as good as Chihiro's ... As for the DVD's, seems like there is an extra minute of content added which I didn't bother to find. I forgot who's doing the DVDs so I'll just grab it all and replace it with the TV edition.

Chihiro's waiting on something. Download both and compare. Chihiro's got better quality, m33w-YuS's translation has better wording with what you hear.

Hmmm, I may just do that.

It very much depends on what sort of resolution the two subbers use, if it's 720p, I'll be happy with either one, but that is just me.
I can't seem to tell the difference between 720 and 1080, but then I haven't actually looked at screen shots of each side by side to make a comparison.

Considering the small size of the batch file (2.56gb) I wonder what resolution it is. No matter, hopefully it will be watchable, if nothing else.

Because the makers didn't release the Blu-ray versions, they're going to be in DVDs and I know there's going to be an extra minute of content per episode on DVDs.

Watched the first 2 episodes......

Quality is quite good, very watchable.

Poplar reminds me of a girl I used to know, but Poplar has brown hair.
She just pushes *all* of my "that is cute" buttons.

Laughed a lot watching the first 2 eps, if it keeps going the way it has started, I can see me getting at least one good laugh each episode.

I think I'm going to enjoy this!
