Dark Jedi = delusional.
I'm telling you the generally accepted view. >_>
Korea - along with Japan - is the leading world pioneer in electronics, quantum physics, and fiber optics technology, and the leading producer of transportation and electronic/computer consumer products. Korea has the fastest Internet network worldwide.
Most microprocessor advances have come from Intel, which is a US company. Actual advances in the field of computer science are spread over so many scientists in so many countries to say where it's coming from is stupid. While Asus (a Korean company) is definitely a top quality producer of electronics they, themselves, can hardly be said to be driving advances.
Quantum physics? Einstein, Bohr, Schrodinger, Heisenberg, Podolsky, Rosen, Planck. Funny, none of those names are particularly Asian sounding.
And fiber optics? Most of that research has been done by so many people, from so many countries (primarily Western) to say that Japan (Korea has had nothing to do with it) is the "leader" is wrong. Hell,
most advances came from Europe. So not a point for the US, but definitely a "loss" for your precious Korea.
In short, your ignorance is astounding.
Japanese vending machines totally kick American vending machines collective ass, though.
