Right on. But i still have them enabled for the eye candy.

I don't really get the point of thumbnails. Most episodic videos start off to a black screen or the same intro as every other episode in the series. Moreover, even if it didn't, it's unlikely I'd be able to identify an episode from it's opening frames to begin with. I'd rather just set things to list so I can click the episode, rather than screen through a bunch of useless "eye candy."

Some programs stick an offset on the thumbnail generation so it can be set to a later time to help with identification, I know all my thumbnails were on a 3 minute offset on my other box.

Still doesn't seem worth the bother. Anything memorable enough from a single frame is probably memorable enough to remember the episode number.
