Tips/advice on seeding?

I joined bt few months ago and downloaded some great anime. I always set my upload rate to unlimited and have researched ways to improve my dl/ul ratio but alas, I think my problem isn't my torrent prog or connection settings. Let me explain.
I've always been a fan of anime but for the longest time have only watched two anime series at a time or so. Recently I've met some friends who have shown me some classic anime films like Akira so that's when I decided to join bt and try to watch many films I've missed. This almost always leads me to downloading torrents that have a decent number of seeders but few peers. For example, I finished downloading Millenium Actress overnight but now that's completed and set to seeding, there are 0 peers.
Does someone have any tips or advice on which torrents I should try to download so that I can seed more? I don't know much about current/new animes but wouldn't mind downloading some for the sake of uploading (and "trying" out some new anime ^^).

Just leave it to seed continuously, unless its a really dead torrent there will be people just like you coming along for it all the time, but they might not when you're actually there if you get what I mean.

You can also download the same files from elsewhere and seed them here if you want.

I would grab a popular freeleach torrent. Even if it's not something you're interested in or your computer cant play it, you can always seed it. It won't count against your ratio, but it will help improve it.

you don't have to get every individual torrent to a good ratio. the global ratio counts.
so just seed the torrent that have more leechers (like the perfect blue torrent you are currently downloading with a seed/leech ratio of 2:1 (haven't seen such a good ratio in a while, the standard on bakabt is somewhere around 10:1!)) and try to finish a download before starting a new one, otherwise you won't have anything to seed back in case you are getting a warning.

Thanks for your replies. I'll grab a few of those free leach torrents tonight so I can seed. Definately can't play 1080p on this laptop though ^^

::edit:: a-ahh...cant even download the freeleech now that i'm warned. my head hurts lol. so now i gotta find a torrent from another source and upload it here? gaaaah guess i gotta figure that one out.
