Uiharu is great:
(click to show/hide)

Yup, I love Uiharu, haven't seen her 'ability' yet, but I gather it has something to do with plant/flowers.

Give the girl her due though, she seems to be a whiz with computers.

Her friend Saten cracks me up, what with her checking Uiharu's panties at least once an episode.

Railgun game for the PSP coming in 8 days, bitches.

Says "Talk adventure game" though, which implies a VN styled game, I'd assume. Oh man, this is going to be awesome

rise from your grave!

heh bumping this thread to ask a question. I was gonna finally get around to watching index and this, but had a quick question that i cant seem to find an answer for, and theres no torrent to post on here anymore:
For the AtsA BD release. Did they keep the TL notes from Nuke?

Looking around online, I actually read that the BD version didn't look so hot. So i may just go with Mazui's regular TV rips if thats the case. In fact looking around online the BD seems to have VERY strange edits
http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2010/02/28/railgun-blu-ray-vs-tv-spot-the-difference/

wtf? Maybe im just better off grabbing Mazui's and forgetting about it. Are the BD rips even worth it? Especially considering id probably just get the 720p versions since the old comp im on cant handle 1080. I just thought there may be some more cleavage or something on the BD version but the edits im seeing make no sense

*edit* almost forgot: do you gotta watch index first? I havent done that yet, kinda wanted to watch this first. I like to watch things in order chronologically

It helps.

To me, Railgun looks and feels like filler. But don't worry, it's good filler, not just "good for filler" but actually "good filler", but still filler. So yeah, start with Index. A couple of characters from Index turn up in Railgun, and unless you know what relationship they have you might be a tad confused.

EHEM. YOU WILL WATCH RAILGUN AT THE EARLIEST POINT OF YOUR CONVENIENCE. THIS IS NOT A SUGGESTION, BUT AN ORDE- *shot*

Though really, just get Nuke's 720

railgun won't make much sense without watching index first. it has shout-outs to index after all. and some eps are linked with index.

I think that you can watch railgun without seeing index. You wont know who Touma is in the few scenes he shows up in, but the story wont fault.

well, you're right about that. it may just be me being a strictly "chronological order" person.

If you actually want this watched chronologically, you should watch Index first arc, then switch to Railgun first arc, then 2 arcs of Index, then 1 arc of Railgun, then finish Index, and finish Railgun. then go Index 2.

I think there was a complete ep list order you should watch to make the most enjoyment from both shows.

okay. maybe change that to "airing order" (which is what i actually mean). I did the same with haruhi, kyon's corrections be damned.
also marathoned all of endless eight, straight.

I love chronological order and all, but is that seriously how I should watch it if I want it in chronological order?

Haruhi was easy to watch in Chronological order after getting the S2 BD torrent (which also included S1 eps) and all the files were in order, but thats how it must be if I want to watch it in order, right?

Also, I heard getting 1080 BD torrents of J.C. Staff anime isn't really worth it. Is that true?

Thanks! <3

Yes it is true.
Even Coalgirls don't do 1080p of J.C. Staff shows.

BrainDips, as a hardcore fan of the raildex universe and series... Just watch Index I, Railgun, and then Index II. It's not like Haruhi where watching it in airing order won't make any sense at all. Things will still make sense and by watching Index I and then Railgun, certain events will fall into place and you'll have those "Oh!!" moments and same with Railgun to Index II.
