Strike witches cut/uncut

so i was looking for a cat girl anime and was recomended strike witches. Thing is i guess theres a cut and uncut version of it, and i cant really figure out whats what. I *think* the underwater ones are dvd rips so im guessing they are uncut but i cant find any info over at ADB or anything. It looks like its not uploaded here either, are all the fansubs just crap or something?

the OAV is here but not the tv series.

So anyone know if underwater is the uncut one? and if its any good? if not, is anyone aware of which groups use the uncut DVD's?

hell, is this even worth watching? I did a search and didn't see it even mentioned here much just a couple times when a few people were asking for cat girl anime

Firstly, it's not uploaded here because it's licensed by Funimation.

Secondly, the fansubs are fine. Underwater did do the DVD rips, though the 'cut' and 'uncut' is incorrect, nothing was cut in the TV version, just obscured. It should be 'censored' and 'uncensored'. The DVD rips are uncensored.

Thirdly, if you're looking for cat girl anime, I think you might want to look elsewhere, this one is more concerned with mecha musume than cat girls.

There are two uncensored versions actually. There is the regular DVD release, and then there is the Strike Subs super uncensored version. The DVD version has less steam and soap bubbles in the bath scenes, but anything below the belt still has things placed in front of the camera. Strike actually went through the process of editing out these objects.

hmm not really a cat girl anime eh? maybe i'll still give it a look. LOL looked up that strike sub thing you mentioned.. ya they actually physically changed the pictures and drew vaginas on the characters o_O that seems excessive.  Any other half decent cat girl shows you can suggest that came out in the past year or so?

Ive been really enjoying spice and wolf, put me in the mood for a goofy cat girl anime to contrast it ;P

all the same it's a good series filled with pantie shots, there is a lot of fanservice, and the plot is good, l recommend ;]

Strike Witches is actually a decent show, but the story didn't pick up until the end. 13 episodes just wasn't enough to develop so many characters and actually explain what's going on. I can't wait for season 2.

tbh l just remembered, l used strikes subs as well for the  ws

l really wish they did a S2 for Strike Witches and Sky Girls, the latter can be senseless but tthe fanservice would be awesome ;]

To anyone considering taking Strike-Subs' DVDrips over Underwater: Both use the exact same subs, but the video quality in Underwater's release is notably higher.

Also, the "extra" uncensoring done by StrikeS was only for episode 7 (or was it 6? only one episode anyway), so if you desperately want to see some loli vaginas just grab that one episode from StrikeS.

them vaginas are not really it tbh but meh, l took strikes because it was good for me, and the DL speed was faster from them hahahah, so they won me ;] but the vagina is really not noticable, and was done on purpose, it wasn't really intendd by the makers ;]
