Scroll down and look at the tables:
Deep Color
xvYCC
Auto lip-sync
Dolby TrueHD bitstream capable
DTS-HD Master Audio bitstream capable
And it goes from 165Mhz (HDMI 1.2) to 340Mhz (HDMI 1.3)
Pretty insane, eh? =] You can purchase the cable for HDMI 1.3 for 10 dollars on Amazon. Cheap and affordable.

But that's relative. i wouldn't buy a $10 HDMI cable if i was a gamer or movie watcher because of the transfer rate is probably low even if the cable is capable of 1.3, it will probably only push 3-4 gigs/second. For most newer TV's and anything with 120 hz on it, lowest one should go with a 10.2 Gigs/second. That cable is probably good for an upscaling DVD player or cable box. But that's about it...

Your saying that from another source or your saying that on facts or your making it up?
The PS3 supports HDMI 1.3. You'll need a cable that supports 1.3 and a TV that supports that and Deep Color is a freaking big plus to those who want better color and accurate framerates. Your making a jump from regular HDMI cables that only give off 70 or 160 Mhz to 340.

I'm talking about the speed of the TV. if you have a high speed TV doing 120hz, 240hz, or 600hz the quality of the cable matters, and that's when transfer rate plays a big role in HDMI cables. Not just the Mhz the cable is running at. A standard 1.3 HDMI is cool for a base tv or a base player, but once you start to inlay frames in 120, or triple inlay like in 240hz tvs, the faster the transfer rate of the cable plays a big role.
If you don't beleive me, hear it from Noah Lee himself. The video is a little old, but it is relivant
