When someone cuts in front of you in the line at the grocery store you should confront them about it. People do stuff like that to other people because they don't acknowledge your existence or they think they'll get away with it. They believe that once they buy their stuff they won't see you anymore. That's why you step inside their bubble and make them remember you. Of course this is easy for me to say because people generally don't give me crap (anymore) because how I look: not very friendly, 1.83 m, and 95 kg. People used to give me crap all the time when I was a kid because I was short, scrawny, and Asian (read by ignoramuses as "different"). Hold on, I seem to be bleeding bitterness again... there we go, fixed it. Anyways :), address them, maintain your politeness, and just talk to them for a bit. Make them remember you. They won't be as likely to cut you off in the future.
I generally stay away from diet soda because I figure if I'm going to put bad stuff in my body it's going to taste the best xD. Also non-diet soda drinks more smoothly, I guess it feels a bit more syrupy?
Zune software breaks my balls, I'll add a top 500 compilation and I'll see that 496 made it in. It pisses me off even more than I can't hunt down those missing songs without spending massive amounts of time.

I was on the way home earlier, waiting at the pedestrian crossing for the lights to change, and there was loads of traffic in one lane, and nothing in the other. The lane that was busy had cars up to and one over the crossing, and because they couldn't go anywhere my boyfriend and me started to cross. Next thing I know theres a car starting to drive on to the crossing. Bear in mind theres already one in front of it half on the crossing, and he has about half a metre at most that he can drive forward. I turned to look at him and this stupid old man is shouting all sorts at me, saying I had no right to cross the road! He had no fucking right to drive on to a pedestrian crossing! There was nothing to say those lights weren't gonna change while he was on there anyway!
Yeah... I got really mad and he got a few choice words. I'm not a fucking retard. I know how to cross a road!

Some people are just stupid and no amount of mercy from the heavens can change it. However, it seems to really depend on where you live. When I was going to my university people were pretty cold and never made eye contact or said "hi". Most of these people were pretty youthful, 18-25 years old. Back in my parent's neck of the woods there are a lot more older people and they are pretty friendly. When I go for a run I feel like a jerk if I don't wave or say "hi" to them because they'll be smiling at me - -.

Older people around here are pinched faced and mean. Hardly any of them are nice or polite
