Had a roommate who had some Uggs. He only wore them inside his room and would never take them outside because he was too ashamed to xD, good guy. I showed him Yakitate Japan and he loved it and would wait to watch it with his girl friend. But then his girl started sleeping with some other guy and he turned emo, got tattoos , and started smoking (nothing is wrong with either but this used to be a really clean shaven guy :-/). Then he transferred to University of Hawaii to get some sun (Seattle has a lot of gloomy weather though not so much in recent times). Hope the guy is happy :-/.
Yes I know this year has been a weird year for weather on this side of the state, though I truly can't complain though hehe. I am liking how we actually had a real summer and it is looking to probably give us a real winter also. Though I am not looking forward to the stupid drivers on the ice and snow.

Zune software breaks my balls, I'll add a top 500 compilation and I'll see that 496 made it in. It pisses me off even more than I can't hunt down those missing songs without spending massive amounts of time.
Man I can't agree more, though at least they fixed the the not your choice for us to tag your files for you... The software for the Zune makes it to where I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If they made it more user friendly and didn't lock the Zune to only that software it would probably be a better MP3 player. Hell I don't see why they couldn't of associated it with WMP instead of making a whole new software.
Is this a recent issue? I used the Zune software until about 10 months ago when I got an iPod and last I remember it, the Zune software beat the shit out of iTunes. Sure it ran slow as fuck, but it would try to find tags for albums and give you a choice. Also, I do not remember any forced tagging. It would just grab whatever tags I had on the files.

Did they really fuck it up that much in a year?

This is more close to the when the Zune was released. I have a 1st gen 30g and got it when it was a new toy on the market. When the program was practically new they forced their tags on all your files. They fixed it later with changing it up a bit and adding only add missing option. Also the program being slow as shit is a major drawback over iTunes. Also this new update they added this quickplay feature (or as I call it a dashboard) that is pointless and all it does is make the program slower. They have one of the worst over-bloated apps on the market for music playing, and they force you to use it just to manage your music, not to mention how much fun getting them to detect all your music can be at time, or the old duping the song problem. I hope they fixed the duping song issue with the new program release, but past that bleh... (I call it a new program release since they said they re-wrote almost the whole code)

The zune software seems to work well 95% of the time for me. This is actually pretty good since I was taking on and putting off thousands of songs each month. However, it seemed like the problems always were the stupidest things and had no work-around. My number one gripe about the Zune/Zune HD is that when you sync images the software converts the image to about 1/3 of its original quality effectively crushing any attempts to read manga/comics off of it. The Zune HD has the hardware to output 720p, there is no reason why can't it handle pictures at their regular resolution.
The zune software is a bit sluggish, even with my overclocked quad core - -. I have never used iTunes but I know when something isn't as fast as it should be.

iTunes is still a but fluffy for a media player, but compared to the Zune software it is like driving a car somewhere compared to walking and the Zune is the walker.

Goodbye vac photos.

(Mainly about my Animation / Graphic Design classes)

Asking people for some critiques on something that I'm working on for school and what-not, only to have their response be, "It looks good!"

Put your mind to it and tear it apart! Its the only way I'll be able to improve on it!

Yes! I fucking hate that! We did a crit in college where we had to go around the room and stick post it notes on everyones work with improvements. I took it seriously and gave everyone a proper piece of critique. When I got back to mine I had "Its very nice!" and "Well done!" and gah! I knew it was nice, I wanted to know how to make it nicer! ><

You mean people who have no idea about a certain thing but pretend they do?

"That song sounded so nice!"
"It's a nice piece but damn she was out of tune and off tempo."
"Don't be mean"
"I'm not being mean. I'm saying as it is."
"You're the only one who heard it."

like... O_O

What is worse if not as bad is when you give people real criticism (pointers of how to do better and not just deconstruction) and they get all butt hurt about it :(. A girl sent me a clip of her singing some Utada Hikaru and I pointed out she was flat and out of breath in a few places. Got the cold shoulder for a few days.
I'd say that women are a pet peeve of mine but I love them too much (wait what?). Every once in a while you run into a real gem though :).

I have sensitive ears, being a musician, so people singing off key and acting like they're the best singers around really tick me off.

Speaking of sensitive ears, I have another in a long list:  People who whistle that loud, obnoxious high-pitch, glass-shattering whistle indoors.  Even worse if they do it like they're pulsing...oh, man, that is horribly painful.  I go to this restaurant on Wednesdays where the bartender does that every song someone sings (it's a karaoke bar on Wednesdays).

One of the guys I work with likes to whistle. Not in a tune or anything, just whistle loads.

But then I also work with a guy who continuously humms under his breath, VERY annoying

What about people who sing badly and know they do?? I love to sing but I hate how badly I suck at it, I wish I had someone that could help me get better though. Now to the next, whistling, I do it out of habit when I get bored anymore. I sometimes will whistle loudly and not even notice though I don't know if I'm off pitch or not.

Though I will agree if they sing badly and think they are the greatest it does get annoying. (I got a brother like that...)

Humility mitigates that.  If you don't think you're the greatest, that means you at least wish to improve.  I knew these two guys who were completely tone- and rhythm-deaf to the max, and cut an album that was trash...it sounded more like they were yelling instead of singing.

When I say "whistle," I don't mean hearing something on the radio and whistling the melody, , which I do as well, or even whistling it off-key.  I'm talking about people who put their forefinger and thumb in their mouth and emit this loud, ear-splitting whistle.

Ah yeah, about the only time I find that type of whistling acceptable is for dinner calling kids or trying to get their attention at a theme park and both of those are in an outside area most the time.

If it's anywhere near a half-way decent sporting event you'll be half deaf anyways :)
