To a certain extent parents who are consistently strict, and with children who understand why the parents are strict will have good behaving kids. Spanking doesn't make for a good kid. It is a tool that can be used by parents to psychologically and physically enforce certain behaviours. A parent who does not always consistently enforce a rule will have a child not follow a certain rule.

And seriously. Is it really that hard to teach your kids to chew with their mouths closed, not eat boogers and other things like that?

Considering people in their adult life do those things too, I guess it must be!

You're right. So many parents are basically retards in discipline. Not to mention the love to push responsibility on other people... sort of sad. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY DAMMIT.

YES!!! I hate parents that will blame it on everything else but themselves when most the times they are at fault.

People that make fun of others due to defects that the person can't do anything about. Sort of like me with my lisp and people making fun of me for it, though it did give me an interesting vocabulary naturally I tend to use words that I can get by with saying and not having most notice I have one. I hate due to so many years of being made fun of because it I mentally try to hide it. I'm just glad that I had an easier defect to hide though. I do feel sorry for those with worst and that have to go threw every day life getting hassled about it by assholes.

Young mother pushing in they baby carriage in bus right one the time of most traffic while pushing out people returning from work and pushing aside in impossible positions people that they can not push out of the bus - cant they go out some other time of day? God I just hate these young mother who think that as they are mother they have a right to do everything, as if stupidity of bringing child to this fucked up world gives them any right at all. And then there are these old female humans who will help to push out and curse younger people who will not hop out of the bus, just because a moron mother cant get her shit together and drive the bus on other timers of the day...

You mean mothers who feel they have a right to be a douchebag because she gives birth to a baby?

You might be trying, but you're still doing it wrong!

People treating me like I'm a second class person when I'm out food shopping. Yes, I am below the age of twenty, yes I am a uni student, no my trolley is not full of alcohol and crisps, its full of food just like yours is!

I get people cutting out in front of me, making me move, I've even a fair few times had people stop to let me through, and other people cut through in front of me and give me huffy looks!

And yet when I go with my mum, none of it happens :(

I love shopping by myself, last time someone tried to cut out in front of me I just assidentally bumped his cart over.

I go with my boyfriend. We go shopping quite seriously and I'm pretty polite, and everyones just gah.

Half of them don't even look in front of them.

well maybe if the dude wouldn't of hit me I would of been fine, but running over my heels with his cart then trying to pass me afterwards wasn't the best idea. If they just rush past me I normally could give a shit less, if they try to cut in front of me in line, well they better be quick to get out of the way of my cart if I have one, otherwise they wouldn't have the chance.

oh, you just need to give all of them a grim look and they leaves you alone, dont work on these elderly people who are the first to push you in every other place, but in line they become so we so that they cant stand ads so on, but ignoring them and being in polite usually works for me

I usually have the problems with the thirty year olds that think they are hot shit...

I usually have the problems with the thirty year olds that think they are hot shit...

I think that about some people...except it's not a compliment...

DIGRESSING

Automatic tips in restaurants.  Give me any semblance of service and you get 20%, but that's my choice.  Everytime I've been in a restaurant that has automatic tips, I have gotten piss-poor service everytime while my/our waiter or waitress sits chatting with friends.

Ordering something, explaining several times that it is as an appetizer, and they bring it with the meal, saying "I put it in with the meal<" then get all pissy when you refuse the appetizer, because you intended to eat it BEFORE the meal, not WITH

Wait staff who pass by your table and even make eye contact, and come back only afer you've sat there for 20 minutes and give me that "I DIDN'T SEE YOU THERE."  That's because I'm out the friggin door.  Don't penalize me because your manager doesn't know how to manage sections.

If I ask for steak or tuna rare, and you give it to me dry as a bone and cooked to the consistency of leather (i.e., nothing that could be considered anything close to rare), especially fish, it's going back, I promise you.  I have a friend who managed an Applebees in my old hometown and he has said there is no excuse for that.

Adult Swim after midnight.  Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken are fine.  "Tim and Eric's (watching paint dry would be more) Awesome Show" and "MetalCrapocalypse" suck big time.  No wonder I watch TNT more; give me Stella and Montana (from CSI:NY) anyday over Tim & Eric.  Hot female women rule.

I can explain about the diet soda with an otherwise-unhealthy dinner thing.  I personally can not stand the taste of regular soda.  Usually I eat pretty healthily, but once in a while I wouldn't mind some fried chicken or a 5-inch thick block of melted cheese (just kidding) and I'm not switching my soda choice accordingly.  I think a lot of people probably see it, not as a balancer, but as not making things even worse, or, like me, people just can't stand regular soda.

ASAFan, switch to Dr. Pepper, it tastes the same whether it is diet or normal. Though you have to worry about stupid people in restaurants not sticking enough or to much syrup in the mix even more here...

Adult Swim did go massively down hill, I think that was the major reason I really stopped paying attention to it.

And another, when you download music and it is improperly tagged. Hell I've gotten songs off of iTunes and Zune Market Place totally improperly tagged...

I love Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper in a 20oz bottle; out of the fountain, Diet Dr. Pepper tastes distinctively like diet soda.  Good stuff, though.

A lot of times, I'll order iced tea, unsweetened with lemon.  Down south, they sweeten their tea so much you can feel the sugar granules, and that's sickening.  I add my own sweetener (Splenda is my preference).

Another one...people who walk or bike down a street at night with white, non-reflective clothing.  I came this close to hitting someone the other night because I barely saw them.  White is not sufficient.

I really dislike splenda. I hate that taste.

Another taste I hate... margarine. Tastes like plastic and salt.

Promise SmartBalance (I think that's the name of it, definitely Promise brand) is good; I use it all the time.  Butter goes rancid, so I prefer not to use it if I don't have to.

Splenda and Nutrasweet are fine; I won't touch the pink stuff unless I'm drinking a fountain drink, which I believe still has saccharine (by the way, a couple of slices of lemon knock down that bitterness).

Anyway...I've done enough bitching for tonight...

I can't touch the diet sugars, well unless I want severe diarrhea. Though if I became diabetic I would be fucked due to that...

I will go butter anyday, margarine just does not taste the same no matter the brand. I don't care if there is so much more fat, I'm using butter I'm already accepting that it's going to be fattening. Also I hate restaurants that use margarine and cake it on toast, it makes it to where I can't eat the toast and that pisses me off...

I drink diet Coke and the like, and not only do I have margarine in the fridge, its light stuff too. I don't find much of a difference taste wise.

But the people I was moaning about are the huge heffers, who come in with twenty chins wobbling, order shit loads of food, and then top it off with a diet pepsi or a pepsi max. Its seriously not gonna help that much. : /
