Student 'taunted' into teacher attack
fohfoh:
I don't condone what the student did, but that teacher is a fucktard. Not to mention a pussy fucktard for dragging politics into this. (lawyers and other crap)
furuoshiki:
The teacher deserved to DIE.
Your job is to be an educator, a role model and a mentor (in some cases).
Not to make fun of your students lives and circumstances.
darkjedi:
I don't think he needs to die but he does need a reevaluation. Oh well, he doesn't need it anymore because he's already changed.

EYE FOR AN EYE, TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.
The teacher would have been killed for sure if this was an American student and he was saying:
"HAHAHA YOU ARE GOING TO DIE IN IRAQ YOU DUMB ROTC PIECE OF SH**!"
This is why academic professionals are always the FIRST TO DIE in a coup de etat.
MOTHER FUCKERS CAN'T KEEP THEIR FLIPPER MOUTHS SHUT!
The only difference in the case of an American ROTC student would be that the mother fucker would die from mysterious sniper bullet fire. And no one would care because he threatened a U.S. soldier with the prospect of death which can easily be interpreted by conservatives as a potential domestic threat to national security.

I'm going to serve the military because it's compulsory, not because it makes me feel elite.
I'm the same age as him, I was also grown aboard, I have the same career interests as him, but I do not forget the allegiance that I owe my country as part of being born and nurtured there. If anything I'm proud of my stoicism; I'm definitely not going to mess up somebody's spine for pointing out something obvious and inevitable to me just because it means hardship.

Well you are lucky in that you are defending your homeland and doing so in a (relatively) safe manor. Many countries (such as my birthplace of Russia) are constantly at war with some armed group or revolutionary faction. At least it is getting youth to seek higher education (easiest surefire way to avoid being drafted).
