Peacemaker Kurogane

(1/1)

Okay, I tried a search and didn't find any relevant topics on this particular anime show.

So... I watched like the first five or so episodes of this anime, which was suggested to me by someone I know IRL.
It was almost unbearable to watch this, even in the first few episodes (at least to me it was). The main character, to me, resembled the typical immature, young, and loudmouthed main character seen in quite a number of anime, such as Naruto or even vaguely Eureka Seven. Anyone else find that these types of main characters really ruin an anime? That's not to say Naruto and Eureka Seven weren't successful; actually I loved Eureka Seven, though I loathe Naruto in almost all ways.

Anyway, because of the way the main character is, I completely dropped this anime without even getting into the meat of the story. Anyone else that's watched this through that found that it actually brightens up later?

Seen all of it. It was one of the first series to adapt nice graphics. But it did poor with story telling (I was lost most of the time) and the action, ... there was almost like no action. Nice graphics, cool characters. And that, is that. I, too, didn't find the main character to be interesting tho' I didn't dislike him. What kept me going was the other characters and also the graphics. As of now, I recall almost nothing of it. It's been 4-5 years ...

couldnt agree with you more on most of it.
impressive looking, sets your hopes high and lets you down with the entire nothing that happens throughout the show

Okay then. I guess I can just delete it off of my portable drive and make space for something else in the future then. Thanks guys.
