A question considering "licesed" anime.
VirtualTT:
Is there any chance of this to change?
I mean don't admins seriously expect police of mafia knocking at their doors next day after any of the "licensed" anime appear on the tracker...

Also should be Baka BT considered as US tracker than? I thought it's hosted in Netherlands and basically is an international tracker.
newy:
Any blacklisted material is denied. This is one reason why BBT has an offer section.
The tracker was either in the US or GB before the name changed. It could be true that the tracker is now international. But why bother to allow blacklisted material only to get trouble with certain companies?

uhh, no
it's enough that the company holding the license contacts the company who is hosting bakabt. they normally are quite quick to comply and shut the site down just to be on the safe side.

bakabt is tracking anime in the english language, those companys are holding licenses for distribution in english speaking countries. so they have a right to force bakabt to take those titles down (or to ban access from those countries to these titles - which is a demand hard to meet for a site like bakabt)
VirtualTT:
Actually a LOT of material is blacklisted. :-\
I was going to upload a Galaxy Fraulein Yuna (OVAI/OVAII)torrent. But when i opened black list i was like OMFG 0_0...
So i guess i'll drop it on TPB as usual...
Seeing variety of torrent trackers throughout the Internet it's quite hard to believe that aggressive copyright owners can affect their work somehow. And it's even harder to believe that hosting company in Netherlands where drugs and prostitution are legal will be afraid of something like "licensed in US" anime...
Duki3003:
What blubart pointed out is quite correct, it's not a matter if the hosting company in Netherlands is afraid of things licensed in US...
If we receive a C&D and do not comply, the next step for them is to notify the hosting company that we are distributing licensed material and request our service to be terminated. There is no reason for the hosting company to expose to risk of lawsuit or anything similar - they will just comply.
So it's better to just play it safe, and not take chances of what if...
