I can't seed (at all)
happousai:
Hello,
I just moved to another flat, and switched from ADSL to cable, and I cant seed at all
Tried utorrent, azurreus, and a veeery popular torrent with 700 leechers, still nothing.
It uploads very nicely until it goes 100 %, but doesnt upload at all when it says "seeding"
I have latest versions of azurreus and Utorrent....
I couldn't find anything regarding this problem in the old posts, so please if someone knows how to deal with this problem?
Its really depressing
Pzc:
Are you sure you keep the torrent running
after it's downloaded ? You may have the
ratio set too low so the client stop seeding
it when done.
If that's the case you can force the client
to continue by either changing the ratio or
in µTorrent you can right click the torrent
and choose 'Force Start'.
happousai:
Yeah, the torrent is till running , and the ratio is 150 percent (i reinstalled u torrent and its running on default settings)
its getting weirder: you know when there is no seeders nor leechers for a file you download the download bar is red and if not its white. Well i have all bars red yet it keeps downloading o.O.
And i tried to download with another computer in the same house it worked normally.
its really weird o.O!

You probably need to re-look at your port forwarding settings.

You also have to consider that Cable providers also tend to use dirty tricks on file sharing clients to keep their overhead down.
You may want to try using TOR (a low latency encrypted anonymity network) in conjunction with your seeding client, it is fairly easy to setup uTorrent to use TOR as a proxy...
anyhow... it's considered very bad form to use the TOR network to send large amounts of data because it is a volunteer run network, so try using it at first just to resolve hostnames, and if that doesn't help then try using the proxy for peer to peer.
It will be SLOW, much slower than a normal connection, but it is nearly impossible for your ISP to figure out (and thusly block) what traffic is going through the TOR pipe...
