Acc to wikipedia, season 4 has been completed on episode 101 so I was wondering why the torrent hasn't been updated till that point. I haven't watched too many episodes of this so I am curious as to the highest possible episode number can be uploaded which has a complete arc.

I talked to an online friend of mine who has watched upto episode 115 and he has said that 101 is indeed a "resolving stuff" episode so it would be safe to update the torrent till that point. I am not sure about the other episodes though. But it would be really great if the torrent is updated, it hasn't been updated for a long time.

I am a bit insulted by that. I take pride in my sorting skills. =(

'cause they're like that is because I don't change things when I've downloaded them via torrents. That way they're easier to seed and in my case, easier to hash check.

I'm guessing that in this case, having a whole torrent with only XviD or H.264 is kind of impossible. I'll try to offer and then we'll see.

EDIT: To have the least amount of groups I propose this group selection:

1-6 Shinsen-Subs (part of torrent on BakaBT)
7-89 Shinsen-Subs & Formula Sub (most part of torrent on BakaBT)
90-95 Yuurisan-Subs
96-105 Higure-Rumbel
106-119 Mashumaro

Of course, excluding Mashumaro if we are going to upload it now. However, it seems a bit early to update the torrent with 30 new eps, I think we should wait until the current season ends. Then we would be able to update it with a lot of new episodes. Also, will HorribleSubs be accepted or only fansub groups?

Especially with One Piece that's a pain in the ass. When the next season ends it should be interesting to upload 21 GB. It looks as if Yuurisan-Subs isn't that good of a choice. Will be looking for Rumbel-Higure instead, help me look if you want.

I'm playing with the idea of tearing the torrent apart into seasons, like Bleach and Naruto.  If so, then we'd just upload up to clean season breaks.

Aw, I was looking forward to having a torrent I could have fun updating. Especially since I dislike the current description.

What are the arguments for having seasons split up in separate torrents again?

Unless I can convince Xiong Chiamiov to have one big torrent with all seasons, it would seem like I'll be uploading the 4th season once I've gathered the appropriate episodes.

One advantage about having one big torrent would be the notification when I swap the torrent. That way there would be a higher chance of seeders who already have the old files.

The other way around torrents would slip by.

EDIT: This shows that an arc has ended at 141. But that's has nothing to do with seasons, but would allow us to upload to episode 141.

EDIT: Edited a little, some of what I wrote didn't make sense.

EDIT: Also, Season three only lasts for 8 episodes. IMO, not enough episodes to split it up.

I have watched the entire anime (up to date) and really like it. The anime is licensed though, which really makes it a bitch to get a hold of. Unfortunately i have it in various different formats and done by different subtitle groups  because at my time of downloading all the torrents were almost dead.

That is, ironically, the reason I don't like grouping multiple season into megatorrents.  Swapping a torrent means that everyone who was seeding any of the previous parts has to remove the .torrent from their client and redownload it, something that I find myself rarely doing.

In general, swaps decrease the swarm, and new grants increase it.

I, however, have not been doing much on the site with the start of fall quarter (especially dealing with offers), so it's not me you have to convince.

Ah, yeah, I see the logic. I guess some people don't visit BakaBT much and just puts torrent in client and seeds without thinking about re-downloading the torrent.

I suppose we'll leave Season 1-3 alone, and upload seasons from now on in separate torrents.

It's a bit hard to convince the other mods since you're the only one who've replied to this as of now.

Now, I still need to find some Higure-Rumbel episodes.

With all the frustration that comes with trying to watch this show, what with the literal dozens of fansub groups and the general asstacular quality of most of them, I have given up on watching it. Honestly, the quality of most of them is so horrid that I'm not sure if the mods would allow it to be updated with the utter shit that is currently out there.

So, I am guessing a newer torrent would be uploaded for season 4 onwards? Plus I don't think Zero would like to continue on with uploading of the torrent.
