Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra

AniDB

Episodes: N/A
Begins Airing: Oct.2.2009
Description: Adaptation of Ishio Yamagata's Tatakau Shisho series of light novels.

In the story of the light novels, all the dead people of the world have been turned into "books" stored in the Bantorra library. A boy named Koria Tonisu has had his memories erased and his chest embedded with a bomb. He is sent to kill Hamyuttsu Meseta, the world's most powerful armed librarian. I'm interested in this one, very very much.

I think if translated into English, it would say "Fighting Master".

Dunno what to think about this one, first episode wasn't all that great imo.
Weird premise, let's just hope it's a grower

You are confusing "shishou" and "shisho"; the former can mean master, whereas the latter means librarians (in this instance).

l don't really know what to think about this, it was ok l guess, but isn't she a bit overpowered and cold ?

this show might be really something good, l like the idea of books storing etc, artwork is good, but so far the story didn't make an impression on me, tough it is interesting, don't get me wrong, l'm not criticizing, l'll need some more eps to get into this seriously, but l don't dislike it, l only wonder what that guy will do now, will he follow his mission or decide on his own now :]

So far there's 9 episodes out? Could someone who is watching this say a bit about the show? Is it worth watching?

I think the last episode I saw was episode 3.

last ep l saw was ep 2 and it wasn't very impressive to me, everything was pretty much said too fast from the very begining and kind of didn't hook me, but if it indeed gets more interesting onwards, l might take a look at those eps tonight and tell you in the morning (2:38 pm atm here)

Edit:
stir clear of HS releases of this show, superbly failures.

Yet you're still watching it. =P

Might as well just use my time on shows that are worth it.

l watched all eps l missed out and tell you what:

1- every moment this show in any episode might, just might get interesting, they nail it and crush it, every time something interesting comes up, they distract you with something meaningless, l'll use a spoiler on something that could have meaning but they destroyed for no real reason, simply stupid l'd say.
(click to show/hide)
2- I find Sasameki Koto more entertaining at this point than a show that tries hard to not have viewers, not to mention fans, l can't belive how much they smack this show with fails, it really had potential in the first episode, but then they started bashing it with a nail board.

unfortunately for me, l cave a tendency to finish what l started, and so fat this show at ep 18 is nothing more than a waste of time, yes, l waste time on this, but since l watch this when l'm done with ongoing shows and aren't watching anything else atm l do it, there were some interesting twists in plot but l think l'll need a manga resource for this to be at least enjoyable, l mean, where is really has something that might develop it's being ended, as l said above, l'm hoping for something really interesting like
(click to show/hide)

sadly l'm stil lfollowing this show, even tough l'm doing it just because l started watching this and l'm watching only few eps in a row when l have absolutely nothing else, my opinion stays firm, this show is being butchered literally, the good story and what you could cal la good fight, everything ends before it really starts, this show really had potential, untill it started airing, l'm watching this cuz one of my friends is actually liking this crap (as l told him, this is worse that crap) the most annoying point in buthcery of this show is the fact they just killed the best character in this show, l'm now like, WTF ?!? what purpose did that have, the following eps showed very little meaning to her death, as it ended the arc as quickly as it started, with nothing meaningfull, l hope this will get licenced by funi so we can spare BBT from this piece of shit.

relentless bashing
...oh shit, and after watching first episode I thought it was going to be amusing.
Damn.
Anyway, I'll try a few more eps, but mind spoiling me few things? Most importantly who dies(it won't annoy me so much if I know who not get attached to), also
(click to show/hide)
does this stay like this? Her feelings are just erased like that and never mentioned again?

l tought l was making a blog here lol,

no
(click to show/hide)

l have one episode to complete, but l'm not recommending this show to nayone, l'm just doing this so no one else has to go through this shit, damn l should have finished it long time ago but it's so stupid l can't belive l started watching this, and it was strating nicely, the first 2 eps were interesting but afterwards it went so downhill it's painful, and the death of that girl just placed a nail in the coffin.

l wonder if the manga is a lot better or it's the same crap.

That sounds like such an utter and horrible trainwreck I'm going to have to watch this.
And "not believing in violence gets you killed" oh wow, the writer seems to really like to be DARK and GRIM and SERIOUS... Shit like that is usually really shallow and immature(and a bait for emo teenagers who only watch mature anime for mature people such as themselves, which would explain the extremely positive comments I read elsewhere), so at least it should be good for a laugh.
Thanks for answering my questions.

watching the episodes that involve her is what made me finish the series.
