just watched HoribleSubs did the first ep, another group dropping honorifics, and they stand up for their name too, TLing is bad, anyways, to me the plot advanced in this ep nicely, l don't know what the hell you guys are complaining about, but if you expect to solve everything in 1-3 eps, whats the use of a whole season ? a lot of things have been given in this one ep, l'll see ep 2 now, but so far it goes good, l saw no reset or enything Tatsu spoke of, maybe we are watching completely different things l dunno, maybe you should re-watch them right after S1, or just drop if you don't see what is being shown.

please stop saying there is no plot advancement where there is a plot advancement.

after sein ep 2 l still say it's going to be good, unless you expect something to happen way too fast.

Your misunderstanding me ... i'm in a hurry now so going to make it short:

Yes the plot advances, no it doesn't have to give up everything in the first episodes... it's just the way it's presented that is badly done, it's filled of clichés, bad character building and superficial storytelling. The series could be so good but it's getting ruined by this. I'm no writer but I do expect better storytelling from scenario-writers.

Not at all

An applecake is presented to me, I like applecakes so i'm eating it ... but the applecake misses something, it's dry and not quite flavorfull while it actually looked quite good. What you are saying is that I can't criticize this applecake because I can't say "it should have been baked at less higher degree", "the apples used aren't flavorfull", "the flour used is what makes it dry". I can't bake applecakes (actualy I can but that's not the point

) but I do eat them so why can't I say the applecake isn't good?

No offense but don't you see the flaw in your logic?

no l don't, first you say it's missing something, the you say the ingredients used arent top quality, so it doesn't miss anything, just wrong ingredients aren't good enough to you, l say, eat a few more applecakes and wait for the flavour get into you, perhaps the apples are from a different garden, maybe the yare top quality and youre just being picky because your unfamiliar with it's taste.

by saying this, it is hard to belive you are criticizing something that does advance after 2 eps, if it was 6 eps and such slow pace, then l would agree, but it goes smoothly, so far, l'm satisfied with the applecake, they don't rush things, and thats good, because the cake was bakes at propper temperature with just different types of ingredients.

It sounds like tweed feels exactly as I do about the series. My asura cryin' board of season 1 covers all the things that are wrong with it... and I'm sure I could add even more to the list for season 2.

Right now it's shitty and is getting worse, but I'm holding onto the slimmest of hopes that it'll get its act together and pick up where season 1 ended, which was great.

that part l don't understand, S1 ended at the ice highroad that paladin made so the airplane didn't crash, and a few moments. did you actually belived they would start off from exactly that place ? S2 starts probably the next day, and everything seems fine to me.

That's this series biggest problem. It has huge amounts of potential, but it completely fails on every level. All of season 1 kept giving us little tidbits of information. And that was IT! No explanation for anything. None of the tidbits were ever revisited to expand upon. Just plot holes a damn 747 could fly through. There is no consistency in the story, and season 2 is doing the same failing things that season 1 did.

do you actually belive a Zealot like him would show feelings of a loss ? no, l bet there will be stuff about him like before, but right now they are focusing on more important characters like Toro for instance, she appeared out of nowhere on that ship and all we knew was she is an Ex-Handler, only later we found out about her past,

I completely disagree. If anything, they made it for people who hadn't seen season 1. Why? They answered nothing from what happened in S1... and jumped straight into S2 and brought up even more questions that will never be answered. So anyone who jumps in now will be far less confused than those who watched S1.
