And another thing. Many enemies are able to stand up to Kurogane, but it takes at least 3 Asura Machina to take down an Asura Cryin. Toma has an Asura Machina and a demon girl. HELLO? Could you at least consider the instant power up that could save your asses and help you finish your goal of releasing Misao?
He has stated before that he didn't intend to use Kanade like an object.

I would expect his feelings to be the same about gambling Misao's life by using Kurogane.

You're still expecting this anime to make sense?

Ok maybe i was being silly to have such an expectation.

Because that would make sense. Also, because a lot of this anime's plot is about the character not saying a word. If he talked, that would scrap a lot of possible storylines.

When i think about it the main char's lack of speaking + ignorence + stupidity they actually were all extremely clever (Not really =P) plot devices. If he had actually gone around questioning everyone and demanding explainations this anime would probably encounter something similer to a bsod when it was unable to give a proper answer :P

EDIT: DmonHiro and kristen, while you tow are here, thanks to you and the rest of the Chihiro staff for subbing this anime. I would hate being unable to see the end but I can't even think of how painful it must be to sub such a bad show. Thanks a lot.

It's actually not that bad at all. I think the only person working on it who finds it painful is Nazo. Everyone else I think thoroughly enjoys it.

Much potential wasted.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Potential?
Honestly, it has (I should say had... cuz it's way too late for it now) potential. If this was a straight up action-drama... without all the comedy aspects, I think it would be a pretty good series. Or if it lost the "fake" drama that it has been doing and went the all comedy route, it would be a good comedy. It's trying to be everything at once though, which is causing it to fail at everything.

I think there are too many plot holes for it to be a good drama. It's only saving grace would be comedy.

However, what saves this show is that it's so bad that it's worth watching. It's trying to be everything at once which is obviously causing it to fail at everything so badly that it makes it actually unique and fun.

Haha, I couldn't agree with you more. I am enjoying its badness very much.

l still belive in this show, altough l only care for Misao, the rest can go to hell, but l think that if he only made a pact with Kanade they wouldn't need Kurogane much at all, only in a fucking big major battle with a final boss at the end of the show.

as for Tomo talking or not talking, he has his troubled look when he talks about Kurogane and stuff, and keeps up the face in front of Misao, tough if she knew the truth l doub't that would stop her, as much as l think she belives she is simply a ghost haunting Tomo, she is in fact an apparition attatched to him by some means and Kurogame is not the reason for that, more will be revealed about them sooner or later but l preffer they started doing something about Misou sooner than later, cuz the longer they wait, the bigger the chance that the next use of kurogane wil lswallow her up.

I still think that Nazo is the only sane member working on this project - though I do like the OP myself  :'(

Episode 4 was... actually not that bad. There's a shocker. I like the new girl! Hope to see more of her in later episodes :P

Hey, so is he an Asura Cryin' yet? If not, I'm not even going to bother to pick the second season up. It's dumb that he didn't become one S1, and if he doesn't become one S2 I might just drop the show.

he didn't yet, but wil leventually, for the very sake of at least not depending on Kurogane, and not allowing Takatsuki to diminish herself much further l suppose.

Episode 4 is just a proof of how much of a train wreck this anime is!

Remember the bad guy from season 1? Well, he only shows up in episode 4!

And the epic badness continues with episode 5. It was... utterly pointless. Nothing like a great filler episode right after something interesting starts happening, ya know?
